MWF holds medical camp against dengue
Minhaj Welfare Foundation launched 30-day free medical camp for prevention of dengue in the central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Free medicines imported from Germany were distributed among a large number of people on this occasion.
Syed Iftikhar Shah Bokhari, Director of MWF, inaugurated the camp. PAT Secretary General Anwar Akhtar Advocate, Engr. Afzal Ghous, Hafiz Khurram Shahzad and other leaders were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Iftikhar Shah Bokhari said that Minhaj Welfare Foundation would organize three more medical camps in the educational institutions from September 26, 2011 onwards. He said that MWF would further spearhead awareness drive about dengue and distribute free medicines among the people. He said that the Foundation has also started the entire city of Lahore sprayed for avoidance of this virus in which dozens of MQI teams are participating. He said that spray teams are doing their duty on the self-help basis. He said that Hafiz Khurram Shahzad has been in-charge of this campaign.
