    13th Collective Marriages ceremony held under Minhaj Welfare Foundation.

    Minhaj Welfare Foundation arranged 13th Collective Marriages ceremony on March 25 in its central secretariat in which 23 couples including two Christian couples tied the knot. The Nikah of the Muslim couples was solemnized by the religious scholars belonging to Minhaj Ulama Council whereas the marriage rites of the Christian couples were performed according to their religious customs. The brides was gifted a household stuff of Rs. 175,000 per head whereas 1500 guests were entertained with marriage feast.

    Quaid Day celebration held at Aghosh Complex.

    Addressing the Quaid Day ceremony organized by Aghosh Complex, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of MQI, has said that chaos and violence have increased in society due to neglect of the rights of the helpless children. He said that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) described the provision of education, and good upbringing of the orphan as the best of acts. He said that the best way to express gratitude on Allah for His blessings is to take care of the orphans.

    The inaugural ceremony of second branch of Orphan Care Home by the name of Aghosh was held here in Shah Latif town, Karachi, on February 5 under the banner of Minhaj Welfare Foundation. MQI President Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri inaugurated the project, whereas PAT President Qazi Zahid Hussain, Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Director Aghosh Complex Karachi Masood Usmani, Zahid Latif and others were present on the occasion.

According to UN’s special rapporteur nearly 90,000 Rohingyans have already escaped to Bangladesh. Thousands of more are making their way across the Naf river in extremely dangerous conditions arriving at the borders of Bangladesh completely exhausted and traumatised; having not eaten for days and surviving on rain or ground water.

    A mass marriage ceremony was held at the central secretariat under the banner of Minhaj Welfare Foundation. President of MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presided over the event. In today’s mass marriage ceremony, 23 couples entered into matrimonial alliance. Dower to the tune of 175,000 was given to each bride besides arrangement of feast for 700 guests. The brides and grooms were welcomed traditionally.

    Minhaj Interfaith and Welfare Foundation as part of its #Colderforthem project is helping with winter relief in various cold regions of the world. As part of its #Colderforthem project in India, MIWF delivered winter relief at Srinagar relief camp in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. MIWF distributed winter relief material and household items to 70 families (approximately 400 people ) who were victims of fire incident which completely destroyed their homes in Srinagar.

Every bride was gifted with household items of worth Rs. 1.5 lacs that included copy of the Holy Quran, prayer mat, cupboard, Almirah, double bed, chairs and table, washing machine, fan, water set, tea set etc. 1000 guests were served delicious food.

The committees have been established in connection with arrangements of the ceremony. 23 Muslim and two Christian couples will be married off in the mass marriage function.

    Minhaj-ul-Quran (Ashton), along with the community of Ashton-Under-Lyne and in association with Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF), organised a charity fundraising program to raise awareness and provide clean water for the deprived and neglected community of Tharparkar (Sindh, Pakistan). To raise much needed funds to build clean water facilities for communities affected by the severe drought, which has taken the lives of hundreds of children and has left many thousands displaced since 2014.
